Mountain Gongga (as kown as Minya konka) is highest mountain in Sichuan province, it's also known to local as "the king of Sichuan Mountains " situated in the Daxue shan mountain rage , between Dadu He River and Yalong River, Part of the Hengduan mountain region, Mt.Gongga is the easternmost 7556 (24,790 ft) peak in the world and the third highest peak outside of the Himalaya/karakoram, after Tirich Mir and Kongur Tagh. DAY 0  Join Tour Chengdu    

Our tour begins this evening in Chengdu, the captial city of Sichuan Province. With a history that stretches back nearly 2500 years, Chengdu marked the spot where the southern Silk Road began and can boast a rich pedigree that includes a reputation as home of Giant Panda. It is also considered by many Chinese to be the home of tea drinking culture. It is also a place famed for its cuisine, Meet up with your tour guide our tour briefing will be hold at your hotel in the evening.

DAY 1  Drive to Kangding  (320km  6.5 hrs )

Morning set out for Kangding aka  " City of  Love Song" .Kangding is the capital of of Ganzi Tibetan Prefecture for many centuries this is an important trading city where Chinese brick tea was carried by porters from Chengdu and other centres to trade for Tibetan wool. You're free to explore the exotic Tibetan town. Treat your with a fine food before heading into the mountains, enjoy the night out by joining in a group dance with local people.

DAY 2  Drive to Laoyulin, Trek to Gexi Glassland  (drive 0.5 hr, walk 0.5 hr)

Departing the lovely city this morning ,we drive west to the small Tibet hamlet Laoyulin the start point of our treking.  on the arrival in the village meet up with our whole trekking team included old style caravan.  Gear up and head into the sacred mountains. Follow the old trails we'll arrive Gexi campsite.

Today's 3 kilometre walk is expected to take around 0.5 hours, alternatively, according to the instant situation,we'll change to stay in Laoyulin.

DAY 3  Trek to Riwuqie 

Head southwards to Riwuqie , enjoy the pictursque plateau landscape. Just few days ago, you were in middle of Chengdu surround by noise, cars and people, now making your way of this Riwuqi valley is nothing but wind, meadow and your footsteps, it’s like the nature just invite you in. Following the river to the left you'll enter this high plateau grassland, all this little yellow flowers are in full bloom absolutely stunning. Continue to our campsite, you'll view the Haizhi snow-capped mountain (6070m) and mini Gonggar mountain (6027 m) along the route During the spring and summer season, you'll meet some black tent nomad, if you're lucky you'll be invited in their tent to enjoy yak butter tea and Zanba. in the part of world everyone is wander so visitor treat each other well 

Today's 17 kilometre walk is expected to take around 7.5 hours.

DAY 4  Climb up to Riwuqie Pass,  Descend to Moxi valley / Base Camp

Today our task is to get up over the Riwuqie Pass, 4830m above the sea level, the  landscape  around  us constantly changing. We start of the beautiful meadow surround by yak . we climb non-stop up to this alpine grassland. Suddenly you'll get very hard walk up series slope you can feel the air getting thinner and landscape turn green grass into brown rock dust ,nothing is live  it’s like  walking on the moon.  After walking up all day through the valley , finally the Riwuqie Pass just behind you.  Enjoy the monent for a second then go down Moxi Valley to our camp. 

Today's 18 kilometre walk is expected to take around 7.5 hours. druing the spring and summer can hire the horse at Riwuqie Ranch

DAY 5 Descend to Gonggar Monastery

Get down to the river valley, there are many river crossing down the route, this water come straight from glacial mountain surround us, it’s ice- cold and moving really fast, you'll come around a bend and catch your first glimpse of snow-caped mountains around Minya Konka. Just see these rise up the valley floor.  Get the most beautiful Moxi Valley to travel through, you’ll see a lot of wild life bouncing around . At the end of day, arrive at Gonggar Gompa (3750m) at the base of Mt. Minya Konka

Today's 25 kilometre walk is expected to take around 8.5 hours.

DAY 6 Trek to Zimei Village,  Drive to Zimei Pass which has panoramic view of  

                 Minya Konka

Wake up early, catch the day light coming up over Minya Konka,  pink and stunning. Take chance to walk the kora or the prayer circle around the monastery.  We begin our descent today as we head for Zimei Village, passing through the forest, After lunch we drive to Zimei Pass which is a spectacular viewpoint to admire the Gonggar Mountains, enjoy this spectacular mountain panorama. 
Today's 8 kilometre walk is expected to take around 2 hours. 

Overnight:  lodge in Zimei Village    Meals: Breakfast,  Dinner

DAY 7 Trek out of mountains via Bawang Lake, Drive to Shimian County

Our final day of trekking, follow the small trail until we reach scenic Bawang Lake. We final reach the road where we meet our bus make a short drive to Shimian County via Caoke where you can make a dip in local hotspring to release the freeze and stress

Today's 18 kilometre walk is expected to take around 6 hours. 

Overnight: hotel in Shimian county    Meals: Breakfast,  Dinner

DAY 8  Drive back Chengdu

Our trip ends after 5 hours drive in Chengdu
